COVID 19 UPDATE
Our service schedule is the same as listed below with the exception of all services being in the Sanctuary for appropriate physical distancing. Everyone who attends services at Emmanuel MUST wear a facemask at all times. Screening will be done prior to each service at the James Street entrance. In the past fourteen days if you have experienced 1) fever, 2) exposure to COVID 19, or 3) symptoms of COVID 19, you will not be permitted into the building.
All social events including Coffee Hour are cancelled until further notice.
We look forward to sharing our faith journey with you. Emmanuel is a warm and welcoming church. Whether you are here vacationing, visiting friends and family, have recently moved into the area, or are a lifelong Bristolian we are so pleased you decided to worship with us. Our Welcome Committee is here to ensure that your time here with us not only nurtures you spiritually, but also that you have a good time, share a light repast, meet new friends, and that you know we are really glad you are here.
Holy Eucharist is offered weekly:
Wednesday, 12:15 p.m. (Bledsoe Chapel)
Saturday, 5:00 p.m. (Bledsoe Chapel)
Sunday, 8:00 a,m, (Sanctuary)
Sunday, 10:30 a.m. (Sanctuary)
Coffee is ready by 7:45 a.m. just before the 8 o’clock service. Please join us for fellowship, coffee, juice and a variety of tasty items after both services on Sundays.
Our ushers are probably the first members of the welcome committee you will meet. They will greet you at the door providing a bulletin and the PEW (our weekly newsletter). If you have any questions about where to sit, nursery facilities, restrooms, etc., they will be more than happy to assist you in settling in.
If you have an interest in ushering please contact the parish office.
